by Daveda Gruber:

Jeff Sessions has resigned as attorney general.

Sessions wrote in a letter to President Trump, “At your request, I am submitting my resignation.”

Sessions’ recusal from the Russian investigation had left a bad taste in the presidents mouth.

The president tweeted out some important information:

Matthew Whitaker, who currently serves as chief of staff to Sessions, will become the acting attorney general.

This all comes as no big surprise as Trump was not happy with Sessions. In September, Trump said of his strained relationship with Sessions, “I don’t have an attorney general. It’s very sad.”

I am the 'chief editor' at the 'The Trump Times'. I adore journalism. Politics seems to be my preferred genre although I do not hesitate to write anything that strikes me as interesting. Researching and finding 'Breaking News' makes my blood rush. I've written seventeen books and over that including books in conglomeration with others, mostly for charity. Doing graphic art design has always been fun for me. Sometimes I incorporate this talent into my articles or when a special 'feature picture' is required.
