by Daveda Gruber:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi had a group of people yelling explicit language at her and calling her a communist during a campaign stop in Coral Gables, Fla., on Wednesday.
Everything these days is caught on camera. This was no exception.
Pelosi enters Florida Democratic House candidate Donna Shalala’s headquarters as people outside surround her and it gets rather ugly.
Pelosi did not interact with them.
Protesters shouted in both English and Spanish while carrying anti-communist signs, “Look at Nancy Pelosi right here f—ing communist. Get the f— out of here. F— you and your f–king Democrats.”
It got worse as one person yelled, “You don’t belong here.”
Another yelled out, “Socialism sucks.”
THIS VIDEO CONTAINS GRAPHIC LANGUAGE:
The video of the confrontation was uploaded on YouTube and titled “Nancy Pelosi was heckled at a Miami Restaurant by Trump Supporting Cuban Americans.”
In fact, the incident actually occurred outside the campaign stop for Donna Shalala.
The protest was organized by Nelson Diaz, the chairman of the Republican Party in Miami-Dade County.
Some of the protesters were reported to have worn signs of Proud Boys. This group is a notorious right-wing group that is often accused of participating in violent scuffles with their opposition.
The protest took place in response to Pelosi attending an event with Shalala that was also supposed to feature California Democratic Rep. Barbara Lee, a liberal lawmaker.
Lee had upset a local Cuban community for praising the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
Lee had said, “we need to stop and pause and mourn his loss,” after Castro’s death.
She called it “very sad for the Cuban people.”
Shalala’s campaign eventually dumped Lee after the outcry. The event went on with just Pelosi.
The incident followed months of public harassment of mostly GOP lawmakers, drew mixed opinions.
Mob rushes Nancy Pelosi on her way into a campaign stop calling her a “F**king communist!”
Security had to hold back the anti-communism protesters as a frightened Pelosi was rushed into a doorway.

Drew Hammill, a spokesman for Pelosi, said that Republicans and President Trump are responsible for inciting such “MOB” behavior.
He said, “It is deeply sad but unsurprising that we now see that ugliness rearing its head. It is stunning that Republicans have the gall to call courageous survivors of sexual assault a ‘mob’, at the same time they incite and condone violent actions like this. Republicans must condemn this vile and dangerous conduct, and stop the reckless and dangerous rhetoric that encourages it.”
Well, Republicans are not condoning “MOB” behavior. Read what Rep. Steve Scalise had to say in a tweet:
I don’t agree with Nancy Pelosi’s agenda, but this is absolutely the wrong way to express those disagreements. If you want to stop her policies, don’t threaten her, VOTE! That’s how we settle our differences. https://t.co/mr4sov7gSK

Should Republicans give the Right what they’re dishing out? I’m not sure that it is the way to do things but some cannot help themselves for fighting fire with fire.
