First, let me make a disclaimer this article is not an ‘endorsement’ for John Cox although I personally as a California citizen am going to be voting for Cox on June 5th.

So, I advise you to take this article or should I say opinion piece and think of it as an average everyday Californian citizen and not a ‘journalist’ or ‘reporter’.

This is just my opinion and I feel like I have to get this off my chest.

Now with that out of the way!

Some of you may know that California is in the middle of the midterm elections which means we’ll be electing a new governor and as well as senators and other elected officials in California including a new Lt. Governor as well as an Attorney General, etc.

On March 18, 2018, President Trump tweeted an endorsement for the Republican nominee John Cox for the GOP Primaries for Governor on June 5th.

While this is election has been a ‘little’ crazy so-far, with wild accusations about John Cox from Cox’s opponent Travis Allen claims that Cox is “being paid by Soros” and they also claim that Cox “didn’t vote for Trump”, now those accusations are serious accusations which I looked into and have found no validity to those claims whatsoever. I have even asked for a reliable source to prove their claim they keep giving me links a site called CAPoliticalReview.com which is a site that just recently popped up either late last year or early this year, which I know nothing about that site and I don’t believe its a reliable source. I have looked into that claim through a more reliable site who has a history of exposing George Soros connections Breitbart and found nothing on a “Cox Soros connection” look for yourself.

As you may remember one of my article one of my articles from last year where I warned about “fake news” masquerading as alternative media outlets, as a reporter I have to be fair and balance and ‘open-minded’ I don’t believe any accusation there is without doing research first, as a ‘journalist’ and ‘reporter’ I have to be fair and balance as well as ‘open-minded’ I can’t let my political biases get in the way of my reporting although I am a conservative. I try always try my best to be fair and balance in my articles.

Another reason I felt like I had to write about this election is that unlike other states we have a top two system primary system here in California which means the two highest vote-winners advance to the general elections regardless of party.

I want to end this article with a note to my fellow Californian republicans with the recent anti-sanctuary movement happening here in California I highly doubt that California is  will vote Democrat in this year, so I advise even you particularly Travis Allen supporters now that the primaries are only 10 days away if John Cox gets the nominee (which I believe he will) you have to accept that fact and vote for John Cox just like I would have to accept the fact if Travis Allen gets the nominee.

One more thing I just want to reiterate the disclaimer I made at the very beginning of this article this article is not an ‘endorsement’ for John Cox although I personally as a California citizen am going to be voting for Cox on June 5th.

So, I advise you to take this article or should I say opinion piece and think of it as an average everyday Californian citizen and not a ‘journalist’ or ‘reporter’.

This is just my opinion and I feel like I have to get this off my chest.
