Something appears not to smell right when it comes to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
One of the reasons behind Ecuador’s recent attempts to extricate Assange from his five-year standoff in its embassy in London, is his lack of cleanliness.
Do you want to know the dirty secrets?
Repeated complaints from staff at the UK embassy tells a story of a man who doesn’t wash properly.
After Britain rejected Ecuador’s application to assign the 46-year-old WikiLeaks founder, he was recently granted Ecuadorean citizenship.
He has been holing up at the embassy in Knightsbridge since 2012.
In the past, others have complained of Assange’s questionable hygiene practices.
One of his closest aides, Daniel Domscheit-Berg said, “Julian ate everything with his hands and he always wiped his fingers on his pants. I have never seen pants as greasy as his in my whole life.”
“Unless the people around him force him to shower, he might not change his clothes for days,” Jérémie Zimmermann, a friend and former colleague, wrote in 2012.
U.S. officials said that arresting Assange remains a priority, but they would not confirm whether the government would request his extradition if he should he be arrested in the U.K.
I am the ‘chief editor’ at the ‘The Trump Times’. I adore journalism. Politics seems to be my preferred genre although I do not hesitate to write anything that strikes me as interesting. Researching and finding ‘Breaking News’ makes my blood rush. I’ve written seventeen books and over that including books in conglomeration with others, mostly for charity.
Doing graphic art design has always been fun for me. Sometimes I incorporate this talent into my articles or when a special ‘feature picture’ is required.
