by Daveda Gruber:
FBI Director James Comey called the Clinton Investigation a ‘matter’ and not an ‘investigation’. A ‘matter’; what is a ‘matter’?
In 2016 FBI Director Comey began drafting an exoneration letter for Secretary Clinton. He did call her ‘grossly negligent’ in a draft of the letter, before completing the investigation? He never interviewed her or any witnesses. Wasn’t this important enough for him to get directly involved?
Why was the decision on whether to charge Secretary Clinton made by FBI Director Comey, who never questioned her, and not the Attorney General?
In 2016 James Comey and the Justice Department gave Cheryl Mills, Secretary Clinton’s Chief of Staff, an immunity agreement for turning over her laptop computer. The Department could have issued a subpoena or get a warrant and seized it. Why did the FBI agree to destroy it? Do they typically destroy evidence?
Attorney General Lynch met with former President Clinton on the tarmac in Phoenix. Why didn’t anyone question this odd behavior. It is odd to meet on the tarmac, isn’t it?
James Comey did publicize the Clinton Investigation, why? When Comey did it, it looked like an arrest was coming. It never came.
In 2016 the FBI paid for the Russian Dossier. The Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee paid FusionGPS for the dossier and the FBI reimbursed Christopher Steele, the author of the dossier.
If the dossier was a legitimate intelligence document relied on by the court, then why not just tell the country?
FusionGPS co-founder Glenn Simmpson met with Natalia Veselnitskaya before and after her meeting with Donald Trump, Jr.; was he being spied on by our government?
The FBI is reluctant to tell Congress and the American people that the government permitted spying on Americans associated with President Trump’s campaign.
On January 6, 2017 James Comey briefed then President-Elect Trump on the dossier. If the dossier was a legitimate intelligence document, then why wait two months after the election to inform the President-Elect?
The Obama Administration leaked information to CNN that President-Elect Trump was briefed on the dossier.
No one would print it. Then Mr. Comey said he had briefed the President-Elect on the dossier and gave it the ‘legitimacy’ the press (CNN) needed to go ahead and print something they knew was not accurate.
The intelligence community in the final months of the Obama Administration unmasked names at a very quick rate.
After Mr. Comey was fired it became critical for a Special Counsel be named to examine possible Trump/Russia collusion. Even Comey leaked a government document about his conversations with President Trump through a reporter friend to the New York Times.
Russian companies who were seeking to do business in the US were involved in kickbacks and bribes. FBI Director Robert Mueller didn’t inform Congress and didn’t inform the Committee of Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), the entity responsible for the decision on whether to approve the Uranium One deal. Where was Robert Mueller?
Why did the Justice Department (DOJ) put a gag order on the informant?
Why won’t Attorney General Jeff Sessions who is the person with the responsibility to answer these questions and get answers do his job?
July 27, 2017, twenty House Republican members of the Judiciary Committee sent a letter to Attorney General Sessions asking for a Special Counsel to get answers to questions.
September 28, 2017, five House Republican members of the Judiciary committee met with the Attorney General and Justice Department staff to inquire about the July letter.
What was the Justice Department’s response? Nothing.
It’s time for Jeff Sessions to name a Special Counsel and get answers. We the American people demand it. If Sessions cannot do his job, he should step down now.
