TWITTER/VIDEO: MSNBC Reporter Finds Trump’s TAX RETURNS in His Mailbox?

A journalist who got a hold of a portion of President Trump’s 2005 tax returns made a big splash on MSNBC Tuesday night. He then analyzed the two page summary on the air. The same journalist apologized back in 2011 for an invalid summary and withdrew the report claiming News Corp made billions on income tax refunds.

Johnston, a Pulitzer Prize winner who specializes in tax issues, was in the news Tuesday night after sharing the two page summary on Trump’s 2005 returns with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.

Wow, she tweeted it out three times. I guess she really needs viewers. Lies might get her less viewers but ‘fake news’ doesn’t really get too much attention. It is amazing how low they will go.

David Cay Johnston said he found the documents in the mail, guessing that Trump himself may have leaked them.

The documents showed Trump paid $36.5 million in income taxes that year, on over $150 million in income, with suggestions from critics that he may have avoided paying taxes.

Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning, tweeting about the incident. “FAKE NEWS” “Does anybody really believe that a reporter, who nobody ever heard of, ‘went to his mailbox’ and found my tax returns?”

I guess we’ll be seeing a lot of transparency of new, ‘fake news and presidential talk through Twitter in the next few years.
